I`m Nigel Vaughan, a professional Caricaturist, a Technical Illustration & Design Artist, based in North Wales.


As a caricaturist, with over 20 years professional experience, I can be commissioned to draw caricature portraits from photos for surprise gifts. I also draw caricatures on-the-spot for weddings, parties, private functions, bar mitzvas, corporate events, charity fundraising events and exhibitions. I cover mainly North Wales, Cheshire, Manchester, Liverpool and Lancashire, but will travel to other locations.

I act as an Entertainer, drawing quick caricatures in ink (and without the aid of an eraser!) which take approximately 4 minutes each. Caricatures are drawn on A4 paper.

This form of entertainment is ideal for formal events, such as Business Conferences, Corporate Events, Private Functions or any kind of Promotional or Charity Fund- raising Events.

I'm happy to take commissions for architectural illustrations, technical illustrations, cutaway drawings of machinery and cars, maps showing places of interest, signs, cars and most other subjects.

I also take commissions to draw and paint portraits, pet portraits, paintings ‘in the style of’ other artists and of any subject of your choice.

I work mainly in acrylic, using the airbrush for extra effects and I can work from photographs. I work from my studio at home in North Wales.
